Founded in 2020 in Boise, Idaho, Mrs. Santa Paws Bakery is more than just a purveyor of delightful dog treats—it is a heartfelt nonprofit initiative dedicated to supporting canine welfare across the United States. This unique bakery combines the love for dogs with a mission to uplift canine rescues, making every treat a symbol of generosity and care.
At the core of Mrs. Santa Paws Bakery’s mission is its commitment to raising funds for over 30 animal rescues nationwide. By channeling profits from every order either directly to these rescues or into its innovative Treats to Table Program, the bakery ensures that both local and broader communities benefit. Launched in 2025, the Treats to Table Program specifically targets dogs in need within the Treasure Valley area, providing nourishment and hope to those who might otherwise go hungry.
The bakery’s model exemplifies how business and philanthropy can intertwine seamlessly. Each carefully crafted dog treat not only delights pets with wholesome ingredients but also serves a bigger purpose—fostering a network of support for vulnerable dogs awaiting their forever homes. This approach resonates strongly with pet lovers who seek to contribute meaningfully to animal welfare with every purchase.
In essence, Mrs. Santa Paws Bakery stands as a testament to how passion, community spirit, and responsible enterprise can combine to make a tangible difference. As it continues to grow, one can envision even greater impacts, inspiring other organizations to follow its lead in blending commerce with compassion for the betterment of animals everywhere.

Mrs. Santa Paws Bakery is committed to helping families stay together during times of hardship. Partnering with our local Pet Food Pantry Programs, we provide our treats to assist feeding dogs in need. With pet food allergies and illnesses on the rise, I wanted to develop clean, natural treats with an opportunity to educate pet parents on the importance of good nutrition in conjunction with the benefits, enabling longevity of life for their dogs.
It was also vital that we find a way to help dogs stay with their loving families and not being abandoned or taken to over capacity shelters due to the inability to feed them. We understand that life happens, and sometimes you need extra support. We are here to help, and keep families together.

For Dog Treats: Chickpea Flour, Almond Milk and dog safe, xylitol free Peanut Butter. Apples,
blueberries, strawberries, bananas, pumpkin puree, spinach, carrots, broccoli, cheddar cheese, bacon, maple syrup, chickpea flour, oats. ( all organic)
Frosting: Yogurt and Carob Chips and dog safe candy melts.
We kindly request that you know what foods your pet is allergic to. All of our products ALWAYS have allergy and ingredient labels on them; being a small, grassroots non-profit, we are regarded as cottage bakers and only have one kitchen.
To make sure there is no cross-contamination, we try our hardest to thoroughly clean all surfaces and equipment before starting any batch. We include the identical allergy caution warnings on EVERY one of our goods in the unlikely occasion that illness may occur.
We've found that the greatest frosting options are yogurt chips and candy melts. In order to create adorable and secure customized treats, we have done our study and discovered dog-safe substitutes for these products. Because puppies CAN'T have chocolate, we also utilize CAROB chips as a healthier substitute!
Indeed, they can! As long as the ingredients are DOG SAFE. Dogs may consume modest amounts of sugar, such as frosting or sprinkles, much like people. That's why our frosted cookies should only be enjoyed seldom and aren't intended as a regular snack. For your regular snacks, we provide options that aren't frosted.
We operate as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
Being a non-profit does not equate to having "no expenses".
Event booth locations, monthly website fees for convenient online shopping, and product costs remain our responsibility. We would be very grateful if you could contribute and help us in our ongoing attempts to raise money for our Treats to Table Program.
The founder and board members DO NOT profit monetarily from sales or donations; instead, they contribute voluntarily to the work of these rescues and shelters. All proceeds go straight back into our nonprofit, which we use to make packages and treats and to give to the charities we support all year long.
